Ensuring sustainable consumption and production patterns (SCP) has been one of the greatest global challenges over the past 50 years. Our planet has provided us with an abundance of its finite natural resources, and in recent decades, modern lifestyles and consumption patterns have undergone radical changes with the continuous extraction of natural resources and people’s exploitation that are not sustainable and go far beyond what our planet can provide, putting unprecedented pressure on the environment.
